Dear
Fellow Guitarist,
I have a "proven

critically acclaimed instrumental guitar CD "Living Digits"...
And
I Want To Share That Formula With You.
If you're interested in playing all the right notes all the time, every
time ... then this is going to be the coolest message you ever read.
Why? This easy-to-use guitar method called
Powerful Modal
Theory and Soloing

know about understanding music theory applied directly to the guitar as
well as mastering diatonic scales over the entire fretboard.
I want to save you a ton of
time by clearing your mind of all the misunderstood clutter
about music theory and guitar modes. TODAY!
You probably know bits and pieces of songs,
famous leads here and there...but do you know WHY it sounds good and most

information, you're able to "think for yourself" on the guitar.
If you're looking to enhance your approach
to soloing as well as further develop your own style, then I guarantee
you'll benefit from this comprehensive home study course.

books, videos, CDs. Yours is
the best. I have been

I took theory about 12 years

thought about lessons again
until I found your product.
It has been a big help.
Three weeks ago, I was
playing the same three
scales I have been playing
since I was 16. I used the

It has helped me connect a

You'll Never Hit Another Wrong Note In Your Life
I take you step-by-step through all the
modal scale patterns. The modal scales video portion of this course is
superior to VCR or DVD technologies that you have to keep rewinding over
and over just to see a ten second segment.
These video clips run in a
continuous loop but you have complete control over when to start, stop
or freeze frame them. You can also "zoom in" on the video for a better
view.
You can see exactly how to execute every modal scale pattern over the
entire neck from my unique "Over The Shoulder" viewpoint.

"The content of "Powerful Modal Theory and Soloing" is
excellent. I also thought both the camera work and

includes jam sessions in various keys/modes so you can
apply the soloing techniques to the instructor’s
accompaniment. Very cool. The videos are filmed from
over-the-shoulder of the instructor - in essence the

Let Me Tell
You How *I* Struggled For YEARS
And
How The Information I Assembled
For This Home Study Course
Dramatically Changed My Guitar Playing
Forever!
Prior to learning and applying the
information that
eventually made it into this guitar course,
I was a frustrated and
unhappy guitarist. I was pretty good, but I
had reached the point
where I needed to go further and didn't
exactly know how to do it
or even what I was looking for.
Here's what I knew... that I didn't
know:
* I knew... that I had "holes" in my
familiarity with the notes
on the entire fretboard. Thus avoiding
certain areas of the
fretboard because I didn't know what to play
there.
* I knew... that when I would try to
write a song, I was "hunting
and pecking" for the parts that sounded good
together and rarely
came up with stuff that I thought sounded
great.
* I would watch my favorite players
play lead and see finger
stretches that I never used... and wondered
how they knew that
their fingers could or should go there.
* I knew... that I needed to know
what chords related to each
other as well as what scales related to
those chords.
Essentially, I Knew...
That My Understanding Of The Fretboard,
And How I Should Apply That Understanding To
Music, Was Incomplete.
...And *That* Lack Of Understanding
Was Preventing Me From Being The Guitarist I
Wanted To Be
So I
studied...read books...wrote things
down...drew fretboard
diagrams of scale patterns...drew fretboard
diagrams of note
sequences...learned what stuff like
Mixolydian meant... what a I
IV V chord progression was...what diminished
was... how chords
are musically built...what the difference
between major and minor
was...etc., and of course, I played my
guitar to hear what I was
learning!
I studied everything I needed to know to
allow me to:
Play lead guitar over the entire
fretboard
Compose and play better chord
progressions
Compose and play world class
guitar solos against those chord
progressions
Feel on top of the world when I
woke up every morning! (Believe me! It's a GREAT feeling!)
Living Digits
Shredded Christmas Card
As a result, I went on to write and record
the instrumental
guitar music on my CD "Living Digits". I've
also been able to
easily apply that knowledge to existing
songs enabling me to
figure out what key those songs are in and
then do my own thing
with them like my "Shredded Christmas Card"
CD.
If you haven't heard any of the music I
composed
using the information in this course,
click the "play" button
to hear
a clip from my "Living Digits" CD.
That education took all the fragmented bits
of understanding that
I had and "cleared the cobwebs". It was kind
of like looking
through a dirty window at first and then
looking though a clean
one.
I Was Changed Into A
"Free-Thinker" On Guitar
I now
compose my own tunes, and know what musical
options I have to complete the composition.
Moreover, I can figure out the key signature
of other peoples songs and then improvise
and "do my own thing" with them. The only
cover tunes I've ever done are some
Christmas classics.
If you want to
hear how I "tricked out"
"God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen"
using the information in this course,
just click the "play" button.
That experience for me was so powerful and
enlightening that I
*had* to share it with other guitarists...which
is exactly why I
created this course.
Man! I've seen material explaining this
stuff in ways that was
just way too confusing and time consuming.
In fact I run across
it more today than I did back then. So I
took all the stuff I had
previously scoured through and studied, and
boiled it down "step
by step" into my own personal "formula"
that's "straight forward"
and easy to understand.
That's How This
Information
Changed My Guitar Playing Forever!
I found out the hard way that being a good
guitarist wasn't all in my
fingers... it had to do with what was in my
head as well.

Set Your
Creativity Machine In Motion
I reveal my EASY secret formula for
understanding the guitar modes. After we've covered every essential
modal scale pattern in the videos, we move on to "Understanding The
Modes".
The great thing about
this section is that I teach you an EASY way to understand this
stuff!
Listen, I'm lazy! When I
was first introduced to the modes, I was confused big time!
But when I discovered
another way to approach it...a much easier way...my playing and
songwriting came together and all the fog lifted!
I explain this same easy
method to you in this clinic.
Jam
Along With Any Song
By Understanding Exactly What To Play And When To Play It
I unveil my FAST modal
recognition technique. This section teaches several quick ways to
determine what mode a chord progression is in and thus, what scale
you need to use in soloing over that progression.
Skyrocket
Your Improvisational And Songwriting Skills.
Here's Proof
That You Understand
I test your knowledge. I've created
ten challenging modal theory chord progression test questions
for you to answer by determining what mode the chords belong to.
Did you know that sometimes there's more than 1 correct answer? That
means more than 1 possibility for correct key selection!
Chord Construction Mysteries Unveiled
You discover how chords are
built...like what makes a minor chord minor?...and a major 9th chord
a major 9th?...or a 13th chord a 13th?
Your Lead Playing Takes A Quantum Leap!
I fill you in on how to
apply modal theory to your soloing. In this section, I explain
various approaches to soloing that I take based on modal theory.
That IS the reason for knowing this stuff right? To help propel your
soloing knowledge to a world class level!
10
"Full Band" Jam Tracks Reveal Your Creativity
You and I get to jam
using 10 all original modal jam tracks!
I've composed and recorded ten, full band, original chord
progression loops representing all of the modes.
I play the rhythm guitar
(drums and bass are there too!) and you play your leads!
This stuff is NOT meant to be played on tiny PC speakers! :-) Five
of the loops are non-distortion rhythm guitar and the other five are
hard and heavy. Again, these are ten unique loops, not the same five
done two different ways!
This is where all your knowledge of the clinic gets put to the
ultimate test...in actual jamming!

Why?
Well, every section in the

from real live questions. Questions from my students who continually
fall into that infamous "playing rut".
They tell me that they get in a
rut, learn a new lick, get into a rut again, learn a new song, fall back
into the rut...and they just keep repeating that terrible cycle.
So I
set up a simple webpage, and
guitarists like you visited and left me their
most pressing question on how to get out of the "playing rut" FOREVER.
Then I answered them... just the real answers you want to know.

20 killer guitar licks from my CD
"Living Digits"
using video, audio, tablature, standard music notation and my personal
comments.
I came up with
this after learning sweeping
arpeggios. I wanted a riff that was
arpeggio-based but not sweep picked.
At first, you may have a tendency to
emphasize the fretted notes. (I did
at least when I was composing it.)
The emphasis (downbeat) is on the
open string notes. This is one of
those riffs where you have to just
play it over and over until you
don't need to think about it...you
just play it. The notes are followed
by the C and B power chords. Then
quickly into the Em7 barre chord at
the 7th fret, and finalized by the D
and E power chords.

"LIVING
DIGITS" GUITAR INSTRUMENTAL CD
(A $12 Value)
Listen, I want to inspire you!
Remember, 100% of the compositional skills you hear on this
album is a direct result from knowing what I teach you in
Powerful Modal Theory and Soloing.
I've had some really good
press with this release. Check out this review that's all
over the web.
Have you
ever heard of the term melodic shredding? I cannot say that
I have but I have someone here that does it, and very well.
His name is Will Landrum. And let me add that there is much
more to his sound than that one frame of reference.
On Living Digits,
Landrum shows why he can call himself the Guitar
Consultant and back it up. By the way, he offers
CD-ROMs and optional downloads with several types of guitar
lessons on his site.
The
Living Digits CD is a testimonial for a life long love
affair with the six-string and getting the optimal sound and
enjoyment from his instrument. Landrum likes the feel of the
moment when he plays, the raw spontaneity of cutting loose
on the guitar and letting those creative juices flow. I
could have realized that by listening to the music the first
time around but I got it right from the horse’s mouth as
they say, via some lengthy e-mail conversations. I learned
quite a bit about this artist, which made my listening
experience much more enriching.
As I write this
tonight, I am listening for the fourth time and loving every
minute of it.
Landrum
offers eight instrumental rockin’ tracks that reflect life
long influences and a straight ahead playing style that does
not compromise the strong sense of commitment to his craft
nor does it strive for perfection.
I simply cannot pick
a favorite on this CD; I loved every track. As Will
takes you on a guided tour of the six-string and all of its
sounds and subtleties, each individual composition fully
develops and unfolds while you listen. To say this dude
rocks is putting it mildly.
When you
look at this recording in retrospect, what you get is a
solid dose of classic rock, metal, and blues all wrapped
into one tight package. Landrum sites Deep Purple and
Ritchie Blackmore as a major influence and you can hear that
loud and clear, particularly on the track “Fill
In The ___.”
The following track is the closer “Perfection Of The Bride,”
it is a beautiful acoustic composition and actually the only
non-electric track on the album. It is something that
Blackmore would play with his current band Blackmore’s
Night, one of my favorite recording artists.
It seems fitting
that the album winds down with a nice acoustic number after
he boggles your mind with incredible six-string virtuosity
and technical expertise in tracks 1-7.
If you have any
doubt whatsoever regarding this man’s validity to offer
lessons, listen to this CD, and any doubt that you have will
be put to rest after you hear the opening track
“Change Your Mind.” Interesting that the title is such, I
just realized what a perfect segue that was after writing
the sentence! It only seems appropriate that I end the
review that way as Will Landrum has the same style; some of
the best things in life are not premeditated, so just grab
yer ass and hang on, I guarantee one helluva ride!

Save You A Ton Of Time And Money
I've taught everything contained in these
guitar courses to my private students over the years. That includes
writing everything down on their time, demonstrating the scales
and licks on their time, drawing the diagrams on their time,
explaining the theory on their time, creating and giving them
homework on their time, giving them tests on their time,
grading their tests on their time, engaging in practice jams
on their time, etc. I think you see my point.
On the average it took about 16 private
lessons to teach all this material. My credentials easily validate
my hourly rate of $90 per hour. Ok...I'll do the math for you, that's
$1,440 in private lessons.
But...as a result of applying these
techniques, those students now think for themselves on guitar which is
knowledge that they have and use for the rest of their lives.
Hey, you're more than welcome to come to
my studio to learn all this one on one with me privately at $90 an hour
but I thought I'd save you a ton of time and money wrapping it all up
into convenient home study courses that you can refer to anytime you
wish.
Everything is explained in PLAIN English... which
means they're easy to read and understand.

Should I Order The
Courses On CD-ROM
Or

Them To My Computer?
These courses are
available on physical CD-ROMs or as a digital download. There are pros and
cons for each that I want you to be aware of to help you decide. Since I
recommend the CD-ROMs, I'll start with the cons of the download version.
The cons for the download version are... they are big files... up to
100mb in fact, because of all the video. You must have a high speed
Internet connection to download these files successfully. If you have
dial-up and you let it download over night, chances are that something
will go wrong during the few hours it takes to download and you'll have
to make several attempts until it works correctly. File corruption is
the number one culprit. Once the courses are successfully downloaded to
your computer, they need to be installed. (very simple though). Also,
the download versions are password protected. You have to be sure that
you never lose the password if you ever want to re-install the courses.
For that matter, you also need to be sure that you never lose the setup
files. I encourage students to burn them to a CD for safe keeping in
case of hard drive failure or getting a new computer.
The pros for the download versions are that it is pretty much instant
gratification *IF* you have the high speed connection. Also no shipping
charges!
The cons for the CD-ROMs are pretty much having to wait a few business days
to receive the package in the mail and paying a little extra for the
shipping.
The pros for the CD-ROMs are that there is no
installation process, no passwords to lose and no setup files to keep
track of. You just insert the CD-ROMs into your computer's CD-ROM drive and
the courses begin automatically. Easy.
Both work great, but I recommend the CD-ROMs because they are just easier.
